Detail: Westfarms is a 1,310,000 square foot regional shopping center located seven miles southwest of Hartford, Connecticut. The shopping center straddles the towns of Farmington and West Hartford, and is conveniently located at the intersection of I-84 and Route 9.

The center opened in 1974 and was expanded in 1997 to include New England's first Nordstrom department store.

Westfarms is the premiere shopping center of central Connecticut and features 160 fine shops and services along with Nordstrom, Macy*s, Macy*s Men's Store & Furniture Gallery, Lord & Taylor and JCPenney.
