Hands On Hartford Winter Clothing Drive

Detail: Hands On Hartford is accepting new or “gently used” winter clothing donations (coats, hats, scarves, warm socks), blankets and other seasonal items for children and adults through November 20. All items can be delivered to the Hands On Hartford Central Offices, 330 Main Street, 3rd Floor, Hartford on Monday through Friday, between 9am and 5pm.

The items will benefit Hands On Hartford’s three direct service programs that provide food, housing and educational opportunities to Hartford’s poorest residents, including the Center for Youth program at Maria Sanchez and Ramon Betances elementary schools; MANNA (Meals, Assistance, Neighbors, Nurturing and Advocacy); and Peter’s Retreat, which provides safe, supportive housing and intensive care management for men and women living
with HIV/AIDS. 

Specifics
•Winter clothes and coats in “Boy” sizes: 14 (2), 12, 10, 6/7, and 12 months, and
“Girl” sizes 14 (2), 7/8, 6/7, 5T and 3T are needed.
•Clothing items for adult men and women, including coats in Small, Medium, Large, and particularly XL and XXL sizes. 
•Gloves, hats, scarves, blankets, socks will also be accepted for adults and children.
