CT Womens Roller Derby Bout!

We are Connecticut's Premier All Women Flat Track Derby league. We are a player owned not for profit team playing for the love of the sport. We would love to work together with you to promote our sport and some of our community service efforts. We have a home game this Nov. 7th in Woodbridge, CT. This is a big event for us as be are collecting toys and food for charity at the door. We hope that with all the excitement over Drew Barrymore's new movie "Whip-It" and with some help promoting this event, that we could get quite a crowd and a whole lot of toys and food items to donate. The games are an soooooo exciting and a truly unique display of athleticism and passion. Event plug aside- We are a great story!!!! How could we get the word out for this event? Any direction would be helpful! Please contact me if you are interested in interviewing us. We have FANTASTIC personalities on the team and make for great conversation and are willing to offer tickets for on air prizes! For those who are interested in playing may wish to know that we have tryouts coming in Nov. 12th following an open meet and greet on Oct 24th.
